PEDIATRICS:

Our pediatric speech-language program helps your child develop the skills needed for successful communication and feeding. These skills can affect all aspects of daily life, from communicating basic needs to developing social skills and friendships to progress in school. Our certified speech-language pathologists have bachelor’s or master's degrees and extensive training in childhood speech, feeding and language problems.

Our goal is to enhance the patient’s quality of life through the development or improvement of effective and functional communication skills, increase independence with life skills tasks, and identify/develop an individualized program for swallowing disorder to ensure safe eating with the most appropriate diet.

  • Articulation (making speech sounds)
  •  Expressive language (using words and sentences to express thoughts)

Children benefit the most from communication and feeding therapy when these problems are identified early. If you have any questions about your child's speech or feeding skills or if you think your child has difficulties understanding language, ask your child's doctor for a referral to ETS.
